The Junior Creative Copywriter is responsible for developing advertising ideas designed to capture attention, spark engagement, and drive real commercial outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of commercial and creativity, with a strong emphasis on ideas, ad concepts, hooks, messaging angles, and scripting.
Job Responsibility:
Generate ad concepts, hooks and fresh creative angles for paid social
Write scripts, headlines and persuasive messaging frameworks for new creative, variations and ongoing iterations to existing assets
Turn briefs and insights into clear creative ideas, using audience behaviour, content patterns, and performance signals — while making sure our product USPs shine through in testing
Collaborate with Creative, Growth, Product and the wider Marketing teams
Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to take a range of ideas and turn them into high-performing campaigns
Stay on-top of the latest trending content, relevant customer experiences, product solutions, techniques, and platforms to inspire fresh creative ideas
Write everything from UGC scripts, skits, to bigger social-first shoots
Requirements:
1-2 years experience in copywriting, PR, or social media
Portfolio showcasing successful paid social campaigns (student, freelance or spec work welcome)
Strong writing instincts with attention to detail
Curiosity about advertising, persuasion and what makes content perform
Familiarity with social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) and digital content formats
Interest in performance creative, testing and iteration (experience not required)
Creative thinker with a natural problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Clear communicator who enjoys collaboration and feedback
