Applicants must be willing to learn cost estimating to include completing company provided training courses. Applicants must possess statistical/quantitative analysis capabilities. Proficiency with M/S office applications Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. Excellent verbal/written communication required. The applicant will assist a company Subject Matter Expert (SME) with quantifying technical, cost, and schedule risks in a science and technology environment. Applicants will be responsible for developing and delivering cost estimates to the SME for review and eventual delivery to Government customers. Applicants will create/maintain cost estimates using Tecolote’s ACEIT software (training provided). Applicants apply stochastic modeling, statistical and analytical techniques, and convey the meaning of the results to the SME. This position interfaces with government personnel on a daily basis. Work is primarily performed in Government facilities located on Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), NM with occasional travel to other government and contractor facilities. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance required. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
