Job Description

The applicant will assist a company Subject Matter Expert (SME) with quantifying technical, cost, and schedule risks in a science and technology environment. The position requires at least 1-year of relevant combined industry/government planning experience. Bachelor’s degree (B/S) in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist a company Subject Matter Expert (SME) with quantifying technical, cost, and schedule risks in a science and technology environment
  • Develop and deliver cost estimates to the SME for review and eventual delivery to Government customers
  • Create/maintain cost estimates using Tecolote’s ACEIT software
  • Apply stochastic modeling, statistical and analytical techniques, and convey the meaning of the results to the SME
  • Interface with government personnel on a daily basis
  • Work primarily in Government facilities located on Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), NM with occasional travel to other government and contractor facilities

  • Willingness to learn cost estimating and complete company provided training courses
  • Possess statistical/quantitative analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency with M/S office applications Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal/written communication
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
