Are you an aspiring community manager who’s excited to learn and grow in social media? Do you enjoy engaging with online communities and want to build hands-on experience in a collaborative team? We’re looking for a Junior Community Manager to support our social presence and help create positive, meaningful interactions with our audiences. In this role, you’ll gain practical experience in day-to-day community management as part of our social team. You’ll support ongoing engagement across our social platforms, help monitor conversations,perform social listening and assist with moderation and escalation when needed. Working closely with more experienced community managers, you’ll learn best practices for tone of voice, quality standards, and audience interaction contributing to how our brands show up in moments that matter. You will help to translate community insights and social data into comprehensive reports, which will help to strengthen our strategic and creative output.
Job Responsibility:
Support day-to-day community management for well-known brands by responding to comments and DMs, engaging with audiences, and staying up to date on social trends through social listening
Learn and apply brand tone of voice, guidelines, and community best practices across different platforms
Assist with community management schedules to help ensure consistent coverage across channels
Work closely with the community team, asking questions, sharing insights, and supporting daily tasks
Flag sensitive or urgent community issues to senior team members when needed
Help monitor conversations, sentiment, and trends, and contribute to reporting and insights
Collaborate with social strategists and creatives by sharing community feedback and audience insights
Requirements:
Relevant experience in community management, preferably in an agency or multi-brand environment
Excellent written communication skills—flawless, fast, and on-brand
A calm, organized mindset—you’re a natural planner and a strong communicator
Strong sense of tone, empathy, and social nuance
Familiarity with tools like Coosto, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similar
Strong understanding of (social media) culture, with a feel for emerging trends, and how communities engage and communicate online
Are fluent in both English and Dutch
Are located and directly available to start working in our Amsterdam office
