MEDWISE – Mediterranean Waste Innovations for Sustainable Environments – is a regional project funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. The project aims to accelerate the transition toward a circular and resource-efficient economy in the Mediterranean region by improving organic waste management through innovative and sustainable solutions. MEDWISE focuses on promoting cross-border cooperation, testing resource-efficiency technologies, and strengthening knowledge exchange among stakeholders through a triple helix approach. The project will pilot and promote innovations in industrial symbiosis, AI-powered waste sorting at source, and decentralized composting systems, while fostering collaboration among partners from Italy, Spain, Turkey, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan. Leaders International is seeking a dedicated, full-time Junior Communications Consultant to lead the visibility and outreach for the MEDWISE project. Funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, the project aims to transition the Mediterranean region toward a circular economy by improving organic waste management. The selected consultant will provide external expertise and communication support, including social media management, content creation, dissemination activities, and event support, while ensuring compliance with Interreg NEXT MED visibility requirements. As the Communication & Dissemination (C&D) Strategy is already approved, the role focuses on the implementation, coordination, and continuous enhancement of these activities.
