Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer to support high-volume client projects with a growing emphasis on the manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for motivated legal professionals with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience who bring strong commercial contracting skills and an interest in manufacturing-related industries. The successful candidate will work across diverse contracts, collaborate closely with client legal teams, and contribute to strategic contracting initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, distribution agreements, supply contracts, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, and service agreements
  • Provide business-focused legal advice on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • Support clients in manufacturing-related industries, with flexibility to assist in other sectors as needed
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure contracts align with operational and strategic objectives
  • Assist with contract management processes, including template creation, database oversight, and potential CLM system implementation
  • Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices impacting manufacturing and commercial contracting

Requirements:

  • JD or equivalent, with active bar membership in good standing
  • 2–5 years of post-qualification experience
  • in-house exposure preferred
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume workloads
  • Flexibility to work independently in remote or hybrid environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the manufacturing sector (any industry background acceptable if tied to manufacturing operations)
  • Exposure to large-scale commercial contracting projects
  • Familiarity with CLM systems and contract operations
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional corporate teams
