Job Description:

This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies and being involved in delivering business-critical projects. The candidate will work closely with QA, DevOps, Software Development, and platform engineers and architects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for software enhancements and new products
  • Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design
  • Gain exposure and growth expertise on a wide palette of cutting-edge technologies while being involved in delivering business-critical projects
  • Work closely with our QA, DevOps, Software Development and platform engineers and architects
  • Execute tasks under Scope of Work or based on Function Requirement Specification following Agile or DevOps methodology

Requirements:

  • Recently graduated from a Bachelor or Master’s degree (that has been completed in the last year or year and a half)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
  • Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, Model View Controller (MVC) design patterns, Micro-services, Linux, IPC and process scheduling
  • and networking protocols TCP/IP
  • Mastery in English
  • German is a strong advantage
  • Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team

Nice to have:

  • Experience with full-stack Java software development, Java frameworks and application servers, Web Services (SOAP/REST API), responsive JS (Angular/Node/React.js), version control (preferably Git)
  • Experience with tools and frameworks such as Java EE/Java SE, Spring/Spring Boot/Struts, Gradle/Maven for build, IDE Eclipse or IntelliJ, React or Angular
  • Programming skills and knowledge in C, C++, Python, preferably data libraries (pandas), Websockets and other cloud networking protocols
  • Exposure to modern container and automation technologies and tools such as Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift, Ansible is a plus
