Job Description:

Junior Category Manager position responsible for supporting efficient management of the category and driving critical business decisions through data analysis, vendor management, and merchandising support.

Job Responsibility:

Generate, analyze, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data
Assist Category and Merchandise Managers in day-to-day local vendor contact
Responsible for planning, tracking, and execution of vendor/operations sales incentives
Provide support and recommendations for local planogram assortment, planning, and process
Collaborate on promotional and pricing management
In store merchandising opportunities with occasional overnight travel

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, business economics, or related field preferred
One to Three years of work experience preferred
Retail experience preferred
Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Valid Driver’s License supported by a clean driving record

Nice to have:

Retail experience
Radical curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace
