Job Responsibility

  • Running natural catastrophe models to help quantify the likelihood and severity of natural catastrophes for property portfolios of insurance companies
  • Communication about technical solutions in a digestible manner with both clients and colleagues from broking team
  • Collaboration with R&D teams on testing and evaluation of catastrophe models
  • Contributing to research and development of ideas to improve the existing models and tools

Requirements

  • Finished university studies in natural sciences, data analysis, statistics or similar field
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of a scripting or programming language (e.g. SQL, Python or R) may come handy
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Capability to work in a team, independently and ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Flexibility and self-motivation, positive approach to work
