As a Junior Buyer, you'll play a key role in supporting the Buying Team by sourcing materials and services required for projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their procurement career, offering hands-on experience within a growing business. Working closely with multiple departments, you'll help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget, while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibility
Procure construction materials and related services
Obtain and compare supplier quotations
Negotiate costs and terms with suppliers
Identify and select appropriate suppliers
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Plan and coordinate deliveries to site
Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers
Support the wider procurement team with administrative tasks
Requirements
