In this role, you will support day-to-day procurement activities, work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and help ensure materials, supplies, and services are available to support business operations. Job Responsibility
Create and process purchase orders for materials, supplies, equipment, and services
Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, deliveries, and shipment status
Monitor open purchase orders and expedite deliveries when required
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information within the ERP system
Support inventory replenishment activities and assist with stock management
Review requisitions for accuracy and completeness prior to processing
Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
Obtain supplier quotations and compare pricing, lead times, and service levels
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met
Assist with supplier issue resolution and service-related claims
Support procurement reporting, documentation, and administrative activities
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing function
Requirements
1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related administrative experience
Diploma or post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field is considered an asset
Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment is preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
