Software Junior Buyer Bangalore/Gurgaon, India Join AXA XL's procurement team and master the art of sourcing. In this role, you'll support end-to-end supplier identification, evaluation, and selection while collaborating with senior colleagues across Legal, Risk, Security, and Data Privacy. You'll prepare RFPs and RFQs, analyze supplier performance, and drive category strategies—all while learning AXA XL's procurement processes and staying ahead of industry trends. Job Responsibility

  • Assist and support more senior colleagues in the end to end sourcing process, identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers that align with AXA XL's procurement needs
  • Support and drive sourcing activities on projects, including preparing RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations), and participating in supplier scoring and negotiations
  • Maintain relationships with key functional stakeholders, subject matter experts, Legal, Risk, Information Security, and Data Privacy teams
  • Assist in market research to support delivery of category plan and category sourcing events for specific categories
  • Support the preparation and delivery of reports on category performance, savings, and supplier performance for Category Managers and Category Leads
  • Learn and follow AXA XL's commercial and procurement ways of working, policies, and processes within central category teams
  • Assist the Sustainable Procurement team in promoting supplier diversity and inclusion within procurement processes and help integrate sustainability practices into daily activities
  • Support initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within AXA XL procurement processes
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about spend categories, procurement trends, and capabilities
  • Complete required learning activities and stay informed about regulatory changes and market dynamics that may impact categories and stay updated on industry's best practices and emerging technologies
