We seek a junior business developer to join our team and support sales and account management activities. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, leveraging your network and expertise to identify and engage potential customers. Operating on a commission-based structure, you’ll be incentivized to cultivate fruitful relationships, with rewards tied directly to acquiring new clientele. Your responsibilities will encompass prospecting and contacting businesses seeking software development engineers for their in-house projects.
Job Responsibility:
Perform market research to identify new business opportunities
Document findings in comprehensive reports and spreadsheets – familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
Contact prospects, introduce our company, and tactfully present our services
Leverage newly established connections and convert leads to buying customers
In partnership with the customer success department, manage new business relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Work with the marketing department to implement conversion strategy and follow-up on MQLs
Assist, as needed, to the customer success manager and the CEO
Requirements:
Understanding of the IT services industry and the outsourcing business model
Understanding of sales & customer relationship management principles
Experience working in sales/business development for an IT outsourcing company is a big plus
Experience with a CRM such as Copper CRM or Pipedrive is a plus
Experience with tools such as CrunchBase, Mailchimp, Apollo, and other automation apps is also a plus
A high degree of self-motivation – you will primarily work independently
Nice to have:
Experience working in sales/business development for an IT outsourcing company is a big plus
