We are currently seeking a talented and self-motivated Junior Designer to join our team at Workshop/APD. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of work experience in architectural and interior design projects, demonstrating their creative process in high-end residential and hospitality work. Proficiency in advanced digital modeling and rendering and professional expertise in Revit are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the project team in understanding requirements and contribute to developing innovative design concepts
  • Create visually compelling client presentations to effectively communicate design ideas
  • Source products, materials, and finishes that align with project goals
  • Develop accurate 3D models and renderings of architectural projects and design concepts
  • Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, and models for project execution
  • Be a team player and collaborate effectively with lead designers and project managers to support project deliverables

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Concept Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation
  • Strong conceptual, graphic, and design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD and/or Revit, Enscape, Rhino, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Strong internship experience or 1 - 3 years of work experience in the Architecture or Interior Design industry, particularly in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality design
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design

Experience in SketchUp is considered advantageous though not mandatory
