We are currently seeking a talented and self-motivated Junior Designer to join our team at Workshop/APD. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of work experience in architectural and interior design projects, demonstrating their creative process in high-end residential and hospitality work. Proficiency in advanced digital modeling and rendering and professional expertise in Revit are essential.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the project team in understanding requirements and contribute to developing innovative design concepts
Create visually compelling client presentations to effectively communicate design ideas
Source products, materials, and finishes that align with project goals
Develop accurate 3D models and renderings of architectural projects and design concepts
Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, and models for project execution
Be a team player and collaborate effectively with lead designers and project managers to support project deliverables
Requirements:
Proficiency in Concept Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation
Strong conceptual, graphic, and design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD and/or Revit, Enscape, Rhino, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Strong internship experience or 1 - 3 years of work experience in the Architecture or Interior Design industry, particularly in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality design
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Nice to have:
Experience in SketchUp is considered advantageous though not mandatory
