Job Description

The Meridiam Green Impact Growth Fund (GIGF) is the private equity fund of Meridiam, dedicated to supporting exceptional fast-growing European SMEs with significant positive impact on the ecological transition. We typically invest €5-30m per transaction, as minority or majority shareholders. Today, we are a team of 8 investment professionals, deeply convinced that companies leading the ecological transition will also be the leaders of tomorrow's economy. We target companies with proven business models and strong management teams. Beyond financial performance, we monitor our portfolio companies’ impact performance over time, and actively support them on operational, financial and ESG dimensions.

Job Responsibility

  • Assessing investment opportunities across all dimensions (market analysis, strategy, HR, financial modeling, legal, IT…)
  • Preparing supporting materials (legal documentation, internal and external memos, Investment Committee notes…)
  • Assisting with external interviews and participating in management presentations
  • Ensuring smooth execution of deal flow processes and middle-office activities

Requirements

  • Top tier academic background in Finance / Business, or Engineering
  • Completing a professional gap year (“année de césure”) as part of a Master’s program or equivalent
  • Previous internship experience in Tier 1 investment banking (M&A / project finance), private equity / venture capital, transaction services or management consulting firms
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and team spirit
  • Fluency in English and French

Nice to have

Financial modelling skills are a plus
