Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join our growing DTPS AI team. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing AI applications and systems that drive innovation and improve our existing products and services. You will focus on developing the tools, systems, and processes that enable artificial intelligence to be applied in the real world. Any application where machines mimic human functions, such as solving problems and learning, can be considered artificial intelligence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to bring AI-powered solutions to life.

Job Responsibility

  • Part of a team responsible for charting the AI strategy and defining the problems to be solved with AI
  • Create and manage the AI development and production infrastructure to support the AI initiatives
  • Design, develop, and implement AI solutions to solve complex problems in various domains
  • Automate AI infrastructures for the data science and platform teams
  • Built AI models from scratch and helped product managers and other stakeholders with analysis and implementation
  • Transform machine learning models into APIs that can be integrated with other applications
  • Collaborate across teams to help with AI adoption and best practices
  • Analyze and optimize AI solutions for performance and scalability
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI research and technologies
  • Participate in code and design reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1- 2 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or deep learning
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Experience with Azure AI chatbots, Generative AI, and prompt engineering (Copilot)
  • Solid understanding of AI models, neural networks, and machine learning concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on knowledge on (big) data engineering technologies (e.g., PySpark, Databricks)
  • Familiar with CI/CD, (Data) Quality Assurance and MLOps concepts and tools on similar use cases (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, mlflow)
  • Hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps) supporting an Agile methodology for delivery
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and SAFe Agile is appreciated

Nice to have

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision is a plus
  • Experience with Azure AI Services, (OpenAI, AI Search, AI speech, AI Document Intelligence, AI translator and AI language) is a plus
  • Azure certification, such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, is a plus
