Junior Accountant

An accountancy business providing bookkeeping and tax efficiency services to SMEs. Growing at 2-3% each month, this thriving company opens up opportunities for qualified chartered accountants to further their career within this one partner practice. It is expanding at a rate of 30% per year, supporting a broad range of companies at various stages of growth all across Manchester. The successful candidate will be accountable for but not limited to: producing VAT returns, processing and finalising accounts, payrolls for general clients and managing your own small group of clients. Further responsibilities will include aiding junior members of staff by feeding them your knowledge and helping with any issues they encounter with their work. Clients range from very small turnovers through to medium sized businesses turning over circa £500,000 per annum. You will also have the opportunity to sit in on client meetings for the accounts under your remit. A little bit of travel around Manchester is also required around flexible working.
