Job Description:

Are you an accounting professional with a sharp eye for detail and a drive to grow? At REI Development Services, we’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join our collaborative team. In this role, you’ll strengthen your expertise, take ownership of key responsibilities and play an active part in our dynamic, growth-oriented environment. A junior accountant in the IT service industry supports financial record-keeping and reporting by handling data entry, processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable, and reconciling accounts, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting with budget preparation and audits.

Job Responsibility:

Booking supplier invoices in the accounting software, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing
Booking client invoices in the accounting software, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing
Booking payments and collections as per bank statements in the accounting system
Provide support for accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring proper follow-up and accurate balances
Perform reconciliation of supplier and clients’ accounts, and bank statements (basic level, under supervision)
Assist in collecting expenses claims for employees on a monthly basis for month-end closing
Creating and updating the electronic archive for accounting documents (scanning, archiving accounting/financial documentation)
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records for the accounting department
Perform other related administrative or accounting support duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience in accounting of at least 2 years
Expertise in Romanian accounting standards and tax regulations
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication skills in both Romanian and English
