Job Description:

By joining the finance team as a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accounting documentation is handled accurately, on time, and in compliance with both internal and external requirements. This is a great opportunity to build a solid foundation for your finance career in a fast-growing, international company whilst utilising your bilingualism.

Job Responsibility:

Processing accounting entries such as supplier bills, customer invoices, employee expenses, and payments
Collaborating with other departments in the execution of these tasks
Analyzing and verifying ledger entries and reconciling bank, supplier, and customer balances
Communicating with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
Participating in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
Assisting senior accountants and the team leader in preparing monthly reports
Working with other departments to provide the information they need
Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve processes

Requirements:

2 years working in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
Understanding the fundamental principles of accounting
Experience working on ERP finance applications
Microsoft skills (Excel is a must)
Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish (B2+)
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Eager to learn and develop
Proactive in proposing improvements

Nice to have:

Master's degree or accounting certification
