Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will support accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting for Arrive Mexico by performing daily transaction posting, reconciliations, and compliance activities in accordance with internal SOPs and Mexican tax regulations. This position serves as a foundational accounting and compliance role, providing structured exposure to accounting operations, tax compliance, and customer-facing documentation processes.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation
Process vendor bills and payments in ERP
Customer invoicing, preparing and delivering physical documentation when required by customers
Process expense reports in ERP
Perform bank reconciliations, and maintain daily cash reporting
Support operational compliance with Mexican tax regulations by validating and reconciling CFDIs to ERP adhering to established tax SOPs and controls
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
Actively participate in the monthly financial close process
Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements
Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready supporting documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
1 year experience in accounting is preferred
Oracle NetSuite and CONTPAQi Experience preferred, but not required
Basic knowledge of Mexican tax legislation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish
Commitment to keep confidential and sensitive information
Strong attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset
Process-driven and comfortable working under SOPs
High level of accuracy and accountability
Willingness to learn
Clear communication and escalation skills
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
