Junior Accountant

• Processing and posting customer payments, resolving payment discrepancies, and assisting with collections
• Reviewing, processing, and recording vendor invoices and managing weekly check runs
• Performing daily and monthly bank and credit card statement reconciliations
• Preparing and posting accurate journal entries to the general ledger as required
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation
• Compiling and analyzing basic financial data to support management reporting and operational needs
• Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and standard operating procedures

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping role, OR a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) is a significant plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred
