Job Description:

This Junior Accountant role is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with experience in large accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. You will be an integral part of maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial results, ensuring timely month-end reporting, and supporting business units with financial inquiries. This short-term contract is ideal for individuals seeking to leverage their financial expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with Business Units, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Billing to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results and cash accounts
Prepare and review monthly reporting, including bank reconciliations and G/L accounts
Provide clear and meaningful analysis of all unreconciled transactions for each Bank and G/L account
Ensure month-end deadlines and reporting quality standards are met, with a focus on continuous improvement
Understand end-to-end financial processes to effectively support daily tasks
Leverage technology to minimize manual financial/reporting processes
Support Business Units and other departments in resolving issues related to cash transactions
Adhere to financial governance controls, including quality assurance and reconciliation

Requirements:

Proven experience in a finance/accounting role with exposure to large accounting systems (preferably SAP)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced analytical and reporting capabilities
Demonstrated ability to reconcile multiple bank accounts (over 25) or several high-volume accounts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred but flexible due to the short-term nature of the role
