Job Description:

An opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to grow their career in a dynamic, project-driven industry while working for a leading construction company.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses to ensure adherence to financial plans
Regularly reconcile bank accounts and highlight any discrepancies for resolution
Post journal entries, assist with month-end close processes, and ensure the general ledger is up to date
Compile financial data to help produce accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders
Assist in audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting standards
Work closely with project managers and vendors, providing support to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping for various construction projects

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
At least 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or project-driven industry
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Viewpoint Vista) and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
Analytical mindset to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve financial discrepancies effectively
