Job Description

Robert Half is looking to hire a Junior Accountant (AP Focus) for our client in lower Fairfield County.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor communications
  • Perform 3-way matching between purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, resolving billing discrepancies as needed
  • Support monthly and period-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Assist with general accounting duties, including ledger maintenance, expense tracking, and ad hoc financial reporting

Requirements

  • 1+ Years of full cycle Accounts Payable
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
