Job Description

The United Kingdom is a critical frontier for Mollie's mission. As a Junior Account Executive, you aren't just making calls; you are the engine driving our expansion in the UK market. By identifying and connecting with high-potential businesses, you directly contribute to our goal of eliminating financial bureaucracy for merchants across the region. You will join a high-velocity team of 7, working closely with other Account Executives to build a robust, high-quality pipeline. This is a role for an ambitious contributor who wants to own their territory, influence business strategy, and see the immediate results of their work in our growth metrics.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, building our pipeline in the UK market and hitting your revenue targets
  • Drive high-impact outbound prospecting campaigns through a multi-channel approach (email, phone, social selling) to identify and engage high-potential businesses
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand prospect challenges, qualify opportunities, and demonstrate the value of the Mollie solution
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations from proposal to signature, converting qualified prospects into new Mollie customers
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Onboarding teams to refine our strategy and ensure the long-term success of your customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full-cycle outbound sales, specifically within the UK market
  • A track record of hitting and exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Mastery of multi-channel prospecting, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools like Salesforce, Bigmind, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • A natural curiosity and a passion for continuous learning, essential for thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving tech industry.
