Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a hybrid role, offering a balanced mix of in-office and remote work after initial training. As part of a long-term contract position, this opportunity provides hands-on experience in accounting operations within the hospitality industry.

Job Responsibility:

Process transaction entries with accuracy and efficiency
Manage vendor information and documentation to ensure seamless operations
Prepare and submit organizational requests in compliance with company standards
Generate and analyze weekly accounting reports for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
Facilitate bank transfers and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy
Initiate and execute payments in accordance with organizational protocols
Support ongoing account coding and reconciliation tasks
Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to streamline processes
Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience with accounting functions, including account reconciliation and coding
Familiarity with accounting software systems, such as Dynamics NAV and ERP solutions
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management
Strong analytical skills to handle account analysis and reporting
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
