Job Description

We are looking for a skilled JR Systems Administrator to join our team in Ada, Michigan. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize endpoint devices, network security, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system administration tools and a strong commitment to enhancing network performance and security.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage endpoint monitoring, patching, and automation tasks across Windows and macOS environments using NinjaOne
  • Oversee user provisioning, group policies, and application assignments within JumpCloud directory administration
  • Assist with device enrollment workflows, compliance policies, and configuration troubleshooting in Microsoft Intune
  • Respond to security alerts from CrowdStrike Falcon Complete, document findings, and support threat containment efforts
  • Deploy and update Cloudflare One policies, including client configurations and gateway rules
  • Review and modify firewall rules on FortiGate and Meraki platforms following structured change processes
  • Monitor threat intelligence dashboards and escalate compromise indicators to senior engineers
  • Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, handling mailbox setups, Teams configurations, SharePoint permissions, and license assignments
  • Support Azure virtual machine management and basic networking tasks under senior engineer guidance
  • Maintain accurate client documentation, including network diagrams, asset inventories, and operational procedures

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Active Directory management and Microsoft Windows Server
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft Azure environments
  • Experience with endpoint protection tools and network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with zero trust principles and network segmentation
  • Hands-on experience with backup solutions like Acronis, Datto, or Veeam
  • Ability to manage directory services, including user provisioning and access policies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and device compliance workflows
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
