Job Description

The Junior Systems Administrator will maintain and monitor server, storage, hardware, software, and underlying communications protocols of IT systems and cloud platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and monitor IT servers and enterprise systems to ensure appropriate confidentiality and privacy of sensitive data.
  • Maintain and monitor Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, and O365.
  • Maintain and monitor enterprise storage services including SAN, NAS, and DAS solutions.
  • Maintain and monitor systems using accepted security principles such as Center for Internet Security (CIS) and/or vendor hardening recommendations in support of NIST security framework.
  • Maintain and monitor remote system management tools.
  • Maintain and monitor the application of system upgrades and security configurations.
  • Maintain and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions of systems.
  • Maintain and monitor standard operating and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with server, desktop, and systems, including multiple operating systems, topologies, and protocols, required.
  • A+, Server+, Network+, Security+, and/or similar certifications preferred.
