Job Description

Ecode Dash is looking for a passionate and curious Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern / Junior Developer who is eager to learn and grow in a real production environment. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who want hands-on exposure to real-world software development, modern web technologies, and scalable applications. We are not looking for experts — we are looking for people with strong fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and a genuine interest in learning new technologies.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications and backend services
  • Work with senior developers to understand project requirements and implement features
  • Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews and team discussions
  • Learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies as required
  • Contribute to internal tools, dashboards, or automation tasks
  • Document features, APIs, or learning during development

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript
  • Understanding of programming concepts (loops, functions, conditions, OOP basics)
  • Familiarity with at least one: Web development, APIs, Databases
  • Basic knowledge of: HTML, CSS, Git / GitHub, REST APIs (what they are and how they work)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field (Final year students can apply)
  • 0–1 year experience OR Fresher with strong fundamentals
  • Must have at least one of the following: Personal project (GitHub preferred), College major/minor project, Internship, Hackathon participation, Technical documentation/blogs
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Good logical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to Google, read documentation, and self-learn
  • Not afraid of debugging and fixing errors
  • Ownership attitude (not “task completer”, but “problem solver”)

Nice to have

  • Node.js / React / FastAPI / Django (any one is enough)
  • SQL or MongoDB basics
  • Linux or command line usage
  • Any deployment experience (Render, Vercel, AWS, etc.)
  • Postman or API testing
