Job Responsibility

  • Serve as Indirect Procurement Lead
  • Main contact for all indirect spend for the US operation. Coordinate with corporate team to ensure processes are integrated effectively
  • Drive vendor selection and qualification/registration
  • Negotiate best pricing and/or establishes long term contracts with critical suppliers
  • Integrate new business system (Ariba) into a standardized operational flow while partnering with Supply chain, Finance, and Marketing
  • Serve as purchasing support for direct material as needed (forecasting/ordering)
  • Provide Logistics Analysis Support
  • Offer support to keep inbound and outbound logistics flowing at an appropriate level
  • SAP Support
  • Help optimize material data settings in SAP in for new and existing offerings
  • Act as backup support for warehouse operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in procurement or materials management
  • Exposure to ERP systems, preferrably SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with high expertise in Excel
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Thorough and professional in presenting information and data, responding to inquiries, and interacting with internal and external personnel
  • Customer-oriented and maintains good relationships with suppliers and co-workers
  • Effective problem-solver with demonstrated ability to make informed decisions
