Job Description

We are looking for a Jr. Network Administrator to support daily infrastructure operations and deliver dependable technical assistance across the organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position combines hands-on systems and network administration with responsive end-user support, including service for senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Microsoft environments, device management, and troubleshooting, along with a careful approach to documentation and operational consistency.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee backup operations by monitoring job success, resolving failures, and maintaining accurate records for related projects and procedures
  • Support the stability of the company network by tracking performance, addressing connectivity issues, and assisting with routine maintenance across core infrastructure
  • Administer Microsoft technologies including Intune, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory to manage users, devices, access, and system policies
  • Maintain both physical and virtual Windows server environments to ensure reliable performance, availability, and ongoing system health
  • Manage VoIP platforms and provide technical administration to keep communication services functioning effectively
  • Contribute to IT planning efforts by helping define project needs, preparing documentation, and supporting implementation activities
  • Serve as an escalation point for help desk staff by handling more complex technical issues and driving timely resolution
  • Create and refine standard operating procedures for commonly supported technologies to improve consistency, knowledge sharing, and service delivery
  • Deliver high-touch technical support to end users, including executive-level assistance for hardware and software issues across iOS and iPadOS devices
  • Assist with development and integration initiatives as needed, while supporting additional infrastructure and administrative tasks assigned by the IT team

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows desktop and server platforms, with working knowledge of Azure gained through hands-on experience and/or Microsoft certifications
  • Strong background providing support for iOS and iPadOS devices in a business environment
  • Advanced networking knowledge with the ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve technical issues across LAN and related infrastructure
  • Experience working with cybersecurity tools, antivirus platforms, firewalls, and network equipment such as Cisco routers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including core business tools such as Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for hardware handling and workstation or infrastructure support tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field with three years of similar experience, or five to seven years of proven technical support experience in a Windows-based environment
