Job Description:

The technical installation specialist is responsible for implementing Rowa systems in hospital environments, working collaboratively with other technicians to ensure proper setup and functionality. The role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical work, requiring excellent technical skills including the ability to read wiring diagrams and strong computer proficiency. The position demands regular travel with a focus on maintaining safety standards and providing ongoing technical support to customers after installation.

Job Responsibility:

  • To install all Rowa products at customer sites according to the project plan, ensuring correct operation once completed
  • To dismantle and reassemble Rowa systems where necessary during installation works
  • To work safely and comply with health & safety requirements
  • To report any faulty equipment or malfunctioning of systems to the relevant supervisor
  • To use tools and test instruments correctly and only for their intended purpose
  • To wear protective clothing as appropriate for the specific activity being undertaken
  • To ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained at all times
  • To comply with procedures and instructions relating to the safe storage, handling and disposal of materials/equipment
  • To complete required paperwork / documentation, including but not limited to time sheets, expense claims and training records
  • To undertake any reasonable tasks as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in mechatronics or similar
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams essential
  • Good level of computer skills essential
  • High level of manual dexterity essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Flexibility in approach to work
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe

Nice to have:

  • Experience working within a hospital environment desirable
  • Knowledge of Italian language would be beneficial
