Developing, maintaining, and performing simple bug fixes on existing PHP projects
Carrying out WordPress site setup, theme/plugin installation, basic customisations, and site migration processes
Monitoring basic configurations such as domain, hosting, SSL (renewal dates, simple setting changes, etc.)
Basic log monitoring via panels such as Coolify, Kibana, Sentry, etc., and reporting to relevant persons when necessary
Providing support in simple DevOps/Sysadmin tasks as directed by the team
Participating in code versioning processes (creating branches, committing, creating PRs)
Requirements:
6–12 months of experience with PHP & MySQL through internships, freelance work, academic, or personal projects
experience with Laravel or another modern PHP framework
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferably Blade) and the ability to assist with small front-end tasks when needed
Hands-on experience with WordPress, including website setup, theme/plugin installation, and basic configuration
Basic knowledge of Git, Linux-based environments (preferably Ubuntu), and how PHP applications run on Nginx/Apache, with a strong willingness to learn deployment and monitoring processes
A strong learning mindset, problem-solving skills, openness to feedback, teamwork orientation, and basic to intermediate English for reading documentation and simple communication
Willingness to learn monitoring and logging tools (such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Sentry, etc.)
Nice to have:
Preferably familiar with or has explored Virtualmin or similar control panels
Willingness to use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc., and open to integrating them into the development workflow
