Job Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Content Strategist to support our organic, content-based top-of-funnel motion. A core responsibility will be continuously learning how to optimize our SEO and GEO/AEO performance. This is an ever-evolving field, so staying curious, learning fast, and experimenting are always top of mind. This role requires exceptional editing skills. Candidates should be comfortable editing for optimization over pretty prose (though the best candidates will know that optimization includes readability and engagement). The role includes writing original content (blogs, lead magnets, social media copy, and other deliverables), editing and optimizing existing work, researching and experimenting with best SEO and GEO practices, coordinating with other teams, collaborating with subject matter experts to turn technical ideas into accessible writing, and maintaining quality and consistency across our published work. Joining an agile marketing team also means being prepared for new initiatives as they arise. This role may be involved in coordinating sponsored third-party content, supporting webinar content, supporting social media advocacy, or contributing to other projects that could launch this year. As a key part of the content team, you’ll weigh in on content planning, help shape best practices, and support the ongoing development of our content offerings. While you don’t need a computer science background, you should be comfortable experimenting and writing about software. This role is a good fit for someone who’s confident in both editing and writing, comfortable offering feedback, and interested in technology and AI. It’s hands-on, collaborative, and focused on producing well-executed, genuinely helpful content.

Job Responsibility:

  • Edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, structure, and logical flow
  • Write original content, including blog posts, long-form content, and other forms
  • Help shape editorial standards and best practices
  • Learn and apply SEO and AEO best practices to optimize content for performance
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to turn technical ideas into readable content
  • Participate in content planning, brainstorms, and distribution discussions
  • Support content audits, gap analyses, and improvements to existing assets
  • Conduct SEO and AEO research and optimize existing content to improve search rankings
  • Support content strategy by identifying new opportunities and refreshing older pieces
  • Help build reporting processes to measure the performance of published content

Requirements:

  • An excellent editor with a strong grasp of grammar, logic, and narrative clarity
  • A confident writer who can explain technical ideas in a simple, engaging way
  • Eager to track and improve KPIs as the cornerstone of your success
  • Interested in technology, AI, software, and how to make it work for businesses
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at once
  • Curious and always looking to improve
  • Familiar with (or excited to learn) how to write content that performs: SEO, CTAs, and value delivery
What we offer:
  • Work at one of Canada’s fastest-growing AI start-ups
  • Work with a talented and passionate team
  • 4 weeks of vacation
  • Paid sick and parental leave
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, travel, and life insurance
  • Funding for education and skills improvement
  • Fully-stocked fridge and cupboard
  • Your own desk
  • A vibrant office community, including weekly socials
