Join JLL's elite JBS PDS (Project Delivery Services) team as a Project Coordinator and become an essential support specialist assisting our Project Managers in delivering exceptional commercial real estate construction projects. You'll be the reliable support foundation for JLL's construction project success, providing dedicated project coordination, comprehensive administrative support, and reliable assistance across construction initiatives throughout our global operations. Your attention to detail and coordination skills will ensure smooth project operations, effective documentation management, and consistent administrative support across our construction portfolio. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers across construction project phases including documentation assistance, schedule organization, milestone tracking, and basic project coordination activities
  • Maintain construction project documentation including permits, inspections, project files, construction drawings, specifications, and deliverables in organized systems using SharePoint, Teams, and construction management platforms
  • Assist Project Managers with internal team coordination, meeting scheduling, communication support, and construction progress coordination activities on behalf of Project Managers
  • Help with construction budget tracking assistance and basic financial coordination activities throughout project lifecycles using administrative tools like Certinia
  • Assist with construction project performance tracking, basic progress monitoring support, quality documentation, and adherence to established procedures
  • Coordinate internal communication and facilitate basic communication coordination between Project Managers, internal construction support teams, and cross-functional departments
  • Organize project files, maintain construction documents, support document workflows, and provide Project Managers with organized project information and administrative assistance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field (Associate degree with relevant experience in construction support, project coordination, or administrative roles considered)
  • 1+ years of experience in construction support, project coordination, administrative assistance, or related support roles
  • Basic proficiency in project management tools (AdaptiveWork, Ingenious, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) for construction project support and tracking
  • Basic navigation of construction management systems (Procore, PlanGrid) for documentation support and project coordination
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills for project documentation, reporting, and administrative support with proficient use of SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation management and systematic administrative support with proven administrative skills
  • Clear communication abilities for coordination with construction teams, administrative support functions, and internal operations

Nice to have:

  • Experience with construction documentation organization, filing systems, project record keeping, and construction document management
  • Background in construction industry, real estate, project support coordination, or commercial construction practices
  • Familiarity with construction management software, project coordination tools, or construction documentation systems
  • Coursework or training in construction management, project coordination, construction administration, or business administration
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) for regional construction support coordination in Costa Rica operations
