Seeking a skilled and meticulous Licensed Electrician in New Hampshire to ensure the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strictly adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all state regulations, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and contributing to overall project success while prioritizing safety and quality workmanship.
Job Responsibility:
Support safety through personal engagement and promote individual accountability for safety within the Plant Facilities Department
Ensure risks to employee health and safety are rigidly controlled
Conduct all activities in accordance with cGMP, EH&S, and the site quality systems
Ability to understand National Electrical Code (NEC) and implement the rules in your repair and installation of electrical systems and equipment
Ensuring that electrical systems in buildings comply with local electrical codes and OSHA safety standards
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using a variety of testing devices and technical diagrams
Ability to fill the role of project manager for electrical projects
To include preliminary planning, sketches, and estimates for installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems
Authors, changes and owns Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for electrical systems
Installation and repair of lighting, HVAC, single and 3 phase motors, VFD’s, fire alarm and security systems
Laying conduit in walls, temporary partitions, and other concealed areas
Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings
Assign area tasks and duties to appropriate personnel
monitor CMMS work order status assigned to personnel and daily discussions with direct reports to cover and resolve electrical related issues
Engage outside contractors, vendors and/or suppliers as needed
Review and approve purchase requisitions entered by direct reports
Direct and train workers to install, Maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project closeout documentation
Requirements:
Complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job apprenticeship experience and 600 hours of electrical coursework and then pass the journeyman exam
Alternatively, complete an associate or higher degree in an electrical program
Alternatively, have 10 years of experience as a licensed journeyman electrician in another state
Possession of an active New Hampshire Journeyman license
Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship program
Skilled at documentation in a CGMP environment
Current on all electrical codes
In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and all safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines
Proficiency in using a variety of electrical testing devices and hand/power tools
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
