They’re a tier 1 contractor to DNOs across the UK and have major framework contracts in place for the maintenance and development of their 11kv - 33kv networks. The Role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cable Jointing Supervisor. You will oversee all aspects of cable jointing operations across the company, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervising and leading a team of cable jointers, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standard
  • Managing the cable jointing program, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately to meet project deadlines
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure that all work is completed safely and to the required standard
  • Liaising with the project manager to provide updates on project progress and identify any issues that may arise
  • Ensure operatives have the correct authorisation to work on projects and ensure enough work has been scheduled with satisfactory detail as part of their work instruction
  • Provide support for the company’s training and development plan including the delivery of training courses and briefings

Requirements

  • HV / LV authorised, preferably with ENWL
  • Valid EUSR or CSCS Card
  • Valid First Aid qualification
  • Knowledge of relevant DNO Policies and Procedures
  • Safety Passport CSCS for SHEA Power
