Job Description:

The Jointer’s Mate/Apprentice will support the High Voltage Jointer/Fitter in installing, maintaining, and repairing high voltage cables (up to 33kV) and electrical equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Jointer in installing and connecting high voltage cables up to 33kV
  • Assist the Jointer with maintenance and repairs of cables, switchgear, transformers, and other electrical equipment
  • Help the Jointer diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions to fix issues
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies while assisting the Jointer on site

Requirements:

  • Recognized qualification within Electrical or High Voltage Jointing/Fitting
  • Valid UK Drivers License
