The Joint Venture Manager will be responsible for the the business and financial oversight and coordination of joint venture (JV) entities within the Group’s investment portfolio. This role ensures that all JV activities remain aligned with the Group’s strategic and financial objectives, while maintaining full compliance with corporate policies, financing agreements, and JV contracts. The person may also act as a formal board member in selected JV entities, representing the Group’s interests and approving documentation in line with decisions of the Capital Group’s Board.
Job Responsibility:
Manage relationships with JV partners – organize regular meetings, report progress, and address both operational and strategic issues
Coordinate decision-making processes within the JV, ensuring compliance with shareholder agreements, financing arrangements, and internal corporate governance rules
Represent the Group as a formal member of JV management boards, approving financial and contractual documentation in accordance with internal decisions made by the Capital Group Board
Participate in negotiations related to establishing new JV entities, restructuring existing ones, or project refinancing
Collaborate with legal, financial, development, and technical teams to ensure JV operations are consistent with the JV agreements and Group’s investment objectives and risk framework
Monitor the financial and operational performance of JV entities, analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), and propose corrective actions when necessary
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for the Group’s Management and Supervisory Board regarding project performance, financial forecasts, and risk assessments
Support due diligence and audit processes, ensuring smooth information flow between JV partners, external advisors, and internal stakeholders
Contribute to the continuous improvement of JV governance standards and reporting practices across the Group
Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
professional qualifications (ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) are an asset
4+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment controlling, or project finance, ideally within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
Proven understanding of JV structures, shareholder agreements, and project financing
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and jurisdictions
High ethical standards, sound business judgment, and readiness to act as a statutory board member of JV companies
Fluency in English (spoken and written, C1 as a minimum)
Nice to have:
additional languages (e.g., Polish, Romanian, Italian, Portuguese, German, or Spanish) are an advantage
