Job Description:

Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. Academic orthopedic surgeon job offering high-volume clinical practice, teaching, and mentorship within the first medical school in East Texas. Physicians practice in a large regional referral system with access to a Level I Trauma Center.

Job Responsibility:

  • High-volume clinical practice
  • Teaching
  • Mentorship
  • Patient care (20–25 patients per day)
  • Outpatient orthopedic surgery (90%)
  • Inpatient care (10%)
  • On-call duty (up to 7 days per month)
  • Administrative duties (4 hours/week)

Requirements:

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Joint Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon
