We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join a successful and growing Property Services Team, working within Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes Maintenance. The role involves carrying out work across residential and non-residential properties throughout North Yorkshire, particularly in the Leeds and York areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality repairs and maintenance service, ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility
Carry out all aspects of joinery work to a high standard in occupied and void properties
Complete repairs, maintenance, and installation work in both domestic and non-domestic premises
Undertake tasks ranging from minor repairs to the installation and replacement of major components
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
Work effectively as part of a maintenance team while also being capable of working independently
Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Completed a recognised Joinery apprenticeship or possess equivalent relevant experience
Relevant trade qualifications
Proven experience carrying out a wide range of joinery repairs and installation work
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in occupied and void properties
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
