We're Hiring: Joiner / Maintenance Joiner at Progress Housing Group Department: Property Services Salary: £35,467 pro rata Location: Leyland, covering the North West Hours: 39 hours per week Contract: Fixed-term / secondment until 31 March 2027 Join Our Property Services Team and Help Keep Homes Safe, Secure and Well Maintained At Progress Housing Group, we're a not-for-profit housing provider with a clear social purpose: to positively impact people and communities by providing high-quality homes, supporting independence and creating opportunities. We're now looking for a skilled Joiner to join our Property Services team on a fixed-term / secondment basis until 31 March 2027. About the Joiner role As our Joiner / Maintenance Joiner, you'll carry out a wide range of joinery repairs, maintenance and installation work across our properties, both internally and externally. This is a mobile role covering the Northwest, so you'll need to be organised, reliable and confident working independently. You'll be responsible for delivering excellent workmanship across responsive and planned repairs, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll also play an important role in providing a positive customer experience by keeping appointments, communicating clearly, and treating customers and their homes with respect.
