Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Job Captain to join our team in Grapevine, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project teams, ensuring collaboration across departments, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise to challenging projects while driving innovation and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to evaluate and develop new design initiatives, including options, styles, and details
  • Oversee multiple project teams and external consultants, fostering communication and shared best practices
  • Assist in the discovery and design phases of new technology projects, providing valuable input and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with construction codes and project workflow criteria, adhering to established standards and procedures
  • Manage data collection and interpretation to support project goals and decision-making processes
  • Lead efforts to identify roadblocks and propose solutions, encouraging continuous improvement
  • Provide business analysis to support senior leadership in decision-making and governance of standards
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of operational policies and procedures
  • Maintain a proactive approach to quality control and project management, ensuring deliverables meet expectations

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multidisciplinary projects effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with clear and detail-oriented articulation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other project management tools
  • Solid understanding of construction codes, design practices, and quality standards
  • Experience in business analysis and governance of operational standards
  • Knowledge of residential construction processes and frameworks
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions in complex scenarios
