Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Jira QA Lead to join a leading banking organisation. This role will be responsible for leading the quality assurance of Jira workflows, configurations, and end-to-end process designs within a regulated banking environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure Jira solutions are accurately built, rigorously tested, and fully aligned with the bank’s operational, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the QA process for Jira workflows, configurations, automations, and process implementations
  • Validate business requirements across multiple banking functions to ensure solutions meet operational and regulatory standards
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and end-to-end scenarios for Jira features and custom workflows
  • Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with Jira administrators and technical teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide recommendations to enhance workflow design, automation efficiency, governance, and controls
  • Ensure all QA activities align with banking risk frameworks, audit standards, and internal compliance controls
  • Support stakeholder sign-off and readiness for production releases

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience testing Jira workflows, processes, configurations, and platform functionality
  • Proven background within the banking or financial services sector
  • Solid understanding of regulatory, operational, and risk requirements within a controlled environment
  • Experience with structured QA methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and process validation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios and validation plans
  • Arabic speakers required
