Job Description:

We are seeking a Jira Cloud Administrator to support and optimize enterprise Agile tooling across a large, global technology organization. This role focuses on administering and enhancing Atlassian Cloud platforms, primarily Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud, to support scaled Agile delivery and improve the developer and product team experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and configure Jira Cloud (Jira Software and Jira Service Management) and Confluence Cloud environments supporting multiple teams and business units
  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and engineering teams to implement Jira structures aligned with Scaled Agile (SAFe) and enterprise Agile frameworks
  • Design and maintain custom workflows, screens, schemes, fields, filters, and dashboards to support portfolio and team-level reporting
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions through Atlassian Access and enterprise identity integrations
  • Implement and maintain automation rules and integrations with platforms such as Slack, GitHub, and ServiceNow
  • Ensure platform governance and configuration standards align with enterprise security and compliance requirements
  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support for Jira and Confluence users across the organization
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices to improve platform adoption and consistent usage
  • Support platform upgrades, testing, and change management activities for Atlassian Cloud services
  • Assist with adoption of new Atlassian capabilities, including AI-enabled platform features

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience administering Jira (including Jira Cloud) within enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
  • Proficiency in JQL, workflow configuration, and Jira automation
  • Hands-on experience managing Atlassian Cloud administration, including permissions, global settings, and user management
  • Experience supporting large user populations (enterprise-scale environments)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience operating in governed or regulated environments

Nice to have:

  • Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120 (Jira Administration for Cloud) or ACP-620 (Managing Jira Projects for Cloud)
  • Experience with ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, or Jira Service Management
  • Familiarity with integrations between Jira and analytics/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience working with Atlassian REST APIs or scripting (Python, Groovy, JavaScript)
  • Exposure to enterprise change management or identity/security platforms
