We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to join our agile team in Denver, CO. This position will expose the candidate to innovative market leading tools, new methodologies and the inter-working of enterprise applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver and a skilled JIRA administrator. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve organizational information challenges and provide quality solutions using JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence. This position will require the use of critical thinking skills to identify client requirements and translate those into detailed instructions for your development team to execute. The ideal Sr. Business Analyst also has strong writing and communication skills, and is able to build relationships with both their team members and client stakeholders and is well versed in SAFe. You will closely work with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to understand their vision, and help them achieve that vision through the use of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Job Responsibility:
Must be able to perform JIRA Administration task such as make changes to Workflows, Screens, and all other JIRA project Schemes
Work with business stakeholders analyze business operations and recommend solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goals as it pertains to an agile transformation
Work with key project stakeholders to formulate and communicate the business vision, to envision initial requirements, and to scope the project
Gather high-level requirements (business, functional and technical) using collaborative, face-to-face workshops with the customers, stakeholders and the development team
May make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
Work with business owners and development team to bridge the gap in understanding the vision and requirements
Author and prepare meeting minutes to be distributed to a variety of audiences
Prepare and maintain project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports and user documentation
Perform other duties as requested
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience as a JIRA Administrator
Cloud JIRA, and the Rovo AI and Atlassian analytics and all things Atlassian cloud
Ability to carry out post functions, validators, and workflow conditions
Confluence
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to do JIRA administration
Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Familiar with Atlassian tools in an Agile environment
Superb knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
