The focus of your work as a Jet Engine Mechanic is on the full assembly and disassembly of complex aircraft engines. Safety and extreme precision are the core of every high-tech action that takes place on the work floor. Using advanced technologies, you ensure that every engine is in perfect technical condition before it is released for the airspace. You perform these challenging tasks in a professional environment near Zaventem airport, where innovation and strict quality standards go hand in hand.

Job Responsibility

  • Jet engines and associated components you systematically take apart and rebuild with extreme care
  • You perform extensive technical inspections and tests to guarantee the optimal operation of the engines
  • Technical reports and logs you fill in accurately, so that every step in the process is fully traceable for the aviation authorities
  • To guarantee a safe working environment, you strictly follow the safety procedures and environmental rules

Requirements

  • You have obtained a technical secondary education diploma in the direction of (electro)mechanics
  • You speak and write English fluently for optimal communication
  • You have a passion for engines and aviation, and you naturally work very concentrated and accurately
  • You have your own transport to Zaventem
  • A two-shift system fits well within your rhythm, where you alternately work in the early shift (6h-14h) or the late shift (14h-22h)
