Job Responsibility:
Perform meticulous visual and dimensional assessments on dismantled engine components to ensure the highest safety standards
Expertly assess component conditions categorizing as serviceable, repairable, or scrap and trigger the necessary follow-up workflows
Safeguard aviation compliance by accurately documenting and finalizing all technical tasks within the ERP system
Oversee incoming and final inspections for repaired or newly purchased parts, acting as the final gatekeeper for quality
Take the lead in time-critical situations, making decisive, high-impact choices to keep operations moving safely and efficiently
Requirements:
You hold a technical secondary degree (A2) with a focus on mechanics or a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation
You bring a solid track record as an Aeronautical Technician, specifically with hands-on experience in Inspection
Deep knowledge of aircraft engines is second nature to you
Very good knowledge of technical English
You thrive under pressure, taking responsibility and making critical decisions when every second counts
You are a flexible professional who easily adapts to the fast-paced, evolving nature of the hangar
You enjoy working in a diverse, multilingual team where supporting your colleagues is a priority
You are ready to work in a rotating 2-shift system (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)
You possess a valid permit to work legally within Belgium
