Job Description:

Robert Half's client is seeking a JD Edwards (JDE) Techno/Functional Business Analyst to support and enhance their JDE 8.12 environment. This role will be critical in ensuring system stability, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing processes across Order Entry, Fulfillment, Finance, and EDI. You will work closely with cross functional teams and business users to analyze, configure, and support JDE applications, ensuring seamless integration with PKMS (WMS), Vertex, and Dynamics CRM. Wear multiple hats—handling both functional and technical aspects of JDE while providing end-user support. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with supporting business processes and operations through advanced technical and analytical skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary JDE support resource, handling issue resolution, system enhancements, and user training
  • Support Order Entry, Fulfillment, Finance, and EDI processes within JDE
  • Troubleshoot and debug JDE applications, including CNC, UBE, and EDI configurations
  • Manage customer additions/removals via EDI and ensure data integrity
  • Work with Jira and SolarWinds for tracking requests, system performance, and incident management
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and optimize workflows
  • Develop queries, reports, and customizations to improve system efficiency
  • Support third-party integrations with PKMS (WMS), Vertex, and Dynamics CRM
  • Assist in security and user role management within JDE

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working with JD Edwards (preferably 8.12)
  • Strong techno-functional expertise, including troubleshooting, configuration, and support
  • Experience with Order Entry, Fulfillment, Finance, and EDI within JDE
  • SQL knowledge and ability to write/debug queries for data analysis
  • Familiarity with Jira, SolarWinds, and email-based support workflows
  • Ability to work independently in a small IT team environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with business users
