Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java & Spring Boot Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on development experience to design and deliver scalable, high-performing applications for VOIS. This role involves working with microservices, RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Agile projects. The individual will be responsible for application architecture, low-level design, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and supporting CI/CD integration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect, design, and develop robust and scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot
  • Create Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and contribute to effective data modelling
  • Apply best practices in coding, design, and architecture, including conducting code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Enhance application performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with project managers for effort estimation, progress tracking, risk management, and stakeholder reporting
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD processes
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams and product owners across functions
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with team members and relevant departments

Requirements:

  • Experienced Java developer with 5–8 years working with Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot
  • Skilled in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and ORM technologies such as Hibernate/JPA
  • Familiar with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL systems
  • Exposure to Kafka, email listeners, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies with strong organisational capabilities
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams

Nice to have:

Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React is beneficial
